Walking under the full moon and capturing the moment is one of my favorite rituals. Each full moon carries various scientific, cultural, or environmental meanings. Connecting these meanings is an integral part of my creative process. The elements that make up this visual media were created through an enjoyable experimental creative process, where I trained my own dataset—photographing dahlia flowers during the day and the full moon at night, starting from the day of the Buck Moon.

In this composition, I used Moon and Dahlia as a Metaphor for Growth
The Buck Moon is the full moon of July, named because this is when deer antlers are in full growth. It symbolizes strength, transformation, and renewal.
Dahlias also bloom in mid-to-late summer, reaching their peak beauty around the same time. They represent change, elegance, and inner strength—echoing the symbolism of the Buck Moon.
Together, the Buck Moon and dahlia symbolize a period of maturity, transformation, and resilience—whether in nature or in personal journeys.

Trained Photo
I took all the photos on the night of July 18, 2024, to create this experimental media art with AI. This video is just the intro part of the artwork. The whole artwork includes a total of 752 trained dahlia and moon images, with their base source consisting of my photos that I took.
